Built for the host at the door

Spotline is a waitlist and reservation tool for any business that seats customers — fused into a single operator screen.

The wedge

Most tools do walk-ins or reservations. Spotline does both, on one screen.

Restaurants buy two products: a waitlist app for the door, and a reservation tool for the calendar. Hosts end up flipping between them all night. Reservations sit in one tab, walk-ins in another, and table state lives in a third — the seating chart the manager redraws every shift.

Spotline’s “Tonight” view fuses those three into one timeline: every party currently waiting, every reservation due in the next 90 minutes, and every table’s status. One screen. One workflow. One source of truth.

Operator-first

Built for the person at the door, not the head office

Spotline is designed for the host working a tablet at the door on a busy Friday. Fast keyboard, tap-to-message, no menus more than two layers deep. The host is the user. Everything else — manager reports, multi-location dashboards, billing — is secondary.

We say “any business that seats customers”, because the design works the same for a 40-seat bistro, a barber shop, a clinic waiting room, or a lounge. The Tonight view doesn’t care what kind of seats they are.

How we work

A few principles that shape what we build and how we charge for it.

Independent

No investors, no roadmap dictated by them. We make decisions based on what makes the product better.

Long-term

We’re building this to run for years, not to flip. Pricing is stable; features ship when they’re ready, not when a board meeting needs a headline.

Made in Tallinn, Estonia

Spotline is part of Workyloop, a small software studio based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Spotline is on the way

We’re building the operator app right now. Pricing is locked; signups open soon.
