Terms of Use
Last updated 22 May 2026. The terms governing your use of Spotline.
Acceptance and scope
These terms govern your use of the Spotline waitlist and reservation service, operated by Workyloop OÜ, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia (registry code 16837036). By creating an operator account, or by joining a participating restaurant’s waitlist or making a reservation, you agree to these terms.
Two audiences are covered:
Operators — restaurants and businesses that subscribe to Spotline.
Guests — consumers who join a waitlist or make a reservation through a Spotline-powered form.
For guests
Joining a waitlist or making a reservation
When you submit your mobile phone number on a Spotline-powered waitlist join form or reservation booking form, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Spotline on the restaurant’s behalf. You will receive SMS only in connection with your waitlist or reservation activity at participating restaurants. Frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
Full details about the SMS program, including how we share data, are in our Privacy Policy.
Your relationship for the dining experience itself — wait times, seating decisions, reservation confirmations, no-show policies, food, service — is with the restaurant. Spotline provides the technology that delivers status updates; we are not party to the seating decisions.
Platform role
Spotline is the platform, not the restaurant
Spotline provides software and SMS infrastructure that restaurants use to manage their own waitlists and reservations. Each restaurant is independently responsible for its seating decisions, wait-time quotes, reservation confirmations, no-show policies, refunds (where applicable), and the quality of food and service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workyloop OÜ is not liable for actions or omissions of restaurants using Spotline, including but not limited to inaccurate wait-time quotes, cancellation of a reservation by the restaurant, decisions about seating priority, or quality of the dining experience.
For operators
Account and operator responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business you represent. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at info@workyloop.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Plans, billing, and fair use
Spotline offers four plan tiers: Free, Plus, Pro, and Enterprise. Plan prices, included guest volume, location count, user count, and feature gates are described on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days’ notice. The Enterprise tier includes a fair-use clause: accounts exceeding 50,000 guests per month may be flagged for review.
Billing is processed by Stripe in US dollars. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Plan changes are prorated. We do not offer refunds for partial months, but you may cancel at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Send marketing or promotional SMS through Spotline. Spotline is a transactional messaging service — join confirmations, position updates, table-ready notifications. Promotional content violates these terms and Twilio’s acceptable use policy.
Operate multiple unrelated businesses under a single account. Each business gets its own account.
Scrape, copy, or extract data from competing services and ingest it into Spotline.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from Spotline.
Use Spotline to violate any applicable law, including data protection, anti-spam, and consumer-protection laws.
SMS and operator obligations
Operators warrant that phone numbers they enter into Spotline were collected with appropriate consent under applicable local law (including, where applicable, 10DLC, TCPA, GDPR, India DLT, and equivalent regimes). Operators remain responsible for compliance with their local SMS regulations.
Spotline honors STOP replies across all operators sharing a common originating number; an opt-out by a guest is global to that number, not per-business.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, fails to pay, or whose activity threatens the service or other operators. We will give notice and a chance to remedy unless the violation is severe enough that immediate action is required.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Spotline is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workyloop OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Spotline. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us during that period.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved by the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and posted here with the updated date. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
